Sugar declines on ample stocks and higher supply

Sugar prices slipped by Rs 40 per quintal in the national capital today following adequate stocks amid higher supplies and weak demand from bulk consumers.
Sugar ready M-30 and S-30 prices declined from Rs 2,950-3,190 and Rs 2,940-3,180 to conclude at Rs 2,920-3,150 and Rs 2,910-3,140 per quintal.
Mill delivery M-30 and S-30 prices dropped from Rs 2,750-3,045 and Rs 2,740-3,035 to Rs 2,750-3,010 and Rs 2,740-3,000 per quintal.
In the millgate section, sugar Kinnoni, Anupshar, Morna and Naziababad were down by by Rs 35 each at Rs 3,010, Rs 2,805, Rs 2,835, Rs 2,825 and Rs 2,815 per quintal.
Sugar Ramala tumbled by Rs 40 at Rs 2,820 per quintal, while Simbholi and Dhampur lost Rs 30 each at Rs 2,990 and Rs 2,830 per quintal.
