Sugar ends mixed in listless trade

Sugar prices displayed a mixed pattern of trading at the Vashi wholesale market here today due to alternate bouts of buying and selling amid lack of demand from consumers.
Small sugar (S-30) was quoted at Rs 2,711/2,815 per quintal as compared to Tuesday's level of Rs 2,706/2,822.
Medium sugar (M-30) also quoted at Rs 2,862/2,956 per quintal from Rs 2,850/2,962 previously.
Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 2,711/2,815 (Rs 2,706/2,822).
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 2,862/2,956 (Rs 2,850/2,962).
