Prices of both the varieties of sugar fell at the Vashi wholesale market here today on poor offtake from stockists and bulk consumers on the back of ample stocks position.
Small sugar (S-30) dipped by Rs 40/23 per quintal to Rs 2,850/3,082 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 2,890/3,105.
Medium sugar (M-30) weakened by Rs 80/22 per quintal to Rs 2,900/3,230 as against Rs 2,980/3,252.
