Sugar millgate prices decline on ample supply

Sugar prices softened up to Rs 10 per quintal in the national capital today following adequate supply from mills amid buying by stockists and retailers.
Marketmen said apart from sporadic buying support, ample supply from mills mainly pulled down sugar prices.
However, sugar spot prices maintained overnight closing levels on small buying support.
In millgate section, sugar Sakoti, Amroha and Morana shed up to Rs 10 per quintal at Rs 2,860, Rs 2,840 and Rs 2,860 per quintal.
Prices of Mawana and Dhanora declined by Rs 5 each at Rs 2,890 and Rs 2,870 per quintal.
The following were today's quotations per quintal:
Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 2,950-3,190, S-30 Rs 2,940-3,180.
Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 2,750-3,045; S-30 Rs 2,740-3,035.
Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 2890, Kinnoni 3,045, Asmoli 3,015, Dorala 2890, Budhana 2890, Thanabhavan 2880, Dhanora 2870, Simbholi 3,020, Modi Nagar Rs 2,880, Khatuli Moisture 2,750, Dhampur 2,860, Ramala 2,860, Bulandshar 2,8760, Anupshar 2,840, Baghpat 2,870, Morna 2,860, Sakoti 2,860, Chandpur 2,845, Amroha 2,840 and Nazibabad 2,850.
