Sugar millgate prices slipped by up to Rs 20 per quintal at the wholesale market in the national capital today following increased selling by millers on higher levels amid selective buying by stockists and bulk consumers.
Marketmen attributed the fall to higher supplies from mills but seasonal buying by soft-drink and ice-cream makers, limited the losses.
