Sugar millgate prices ease on selling pressure

Sugar millgate prices softened by Rs 10 per quintal in the national capital today following ample supply from mills amid reduced offtake by stockists and bulk consumers.
Marketmen said apart from heavy stocks position in the market on regular supply from mills against weak demand from stockists and bulk consumers mainly pulled down some of mills prices.
In millgate section, Sugar Simbholi and Khatauli moved down by Rs 10 each to Rs 2,980 and Rs 2,990 per quintal.
Sugar Baghpat, Chandpur and Nazibabad also dropped by Rs 10 each to Rs 2,780, Rs 2,765 and Rs 2,760 per quintal, respectively.
The following are today's quotations per quintal:
Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 2,920-3,170, S-30 Rs 2,910-3,160.
Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 2,740-3,030; S-30 Rs 2,730-3,020.
Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 2840, Kinnoni 3,030, Asmoli 3,000, Dorala 2830, Budhana 2825, Thanabhavan 2820, Dhanora 2815, Simbholi 2,980, Modi Nagar Rs 2,810, Khatuli 2,990, Dhampur 2,780, Ramala 2,780, Bulandshar 2,795, Anupshar 2,740, Baghpat 2,780, Morna 2,790, Sakoti 2,800, Chandpur 2,765, Amroha N.T. And Nazibabad 2,760.
