Sugar millgate prices go up on sustained buying

Sugar millgate prices improved further by Rs 10 per quintal in the national capital today following sustained buying by stockist and bulk consumers.
Marketmen said renewed buying by stockist and bulk consumers such as ice-cream and soft-drink makers for the ongoing marriage season, mainly kept prices higher.
In millgate section, sugar Mawana, Anupshar, Baghpat, Ramala and Nazibabad all rose by Rs 10 each to Rs 2,865, Rs 2,750, Rs 2,800, Rs 2,790 and Rs 2,770 per quintal, respectively.
The following are today's quotations per quintal:
Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 2,920-3,210, S-30 Rs 2,910-3,200.
Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 2,740-3,060; S-30 Rs 2,730-3,050.
Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 2865, Kinnoni 3,060, Asmoli 3,040, Dorala 2870, Budhana 2870, Thanabhavan 2865, Dhanora 2855, Simbholi 3,030, Modi Nagar Rs 2,850, Khatuli 3,030, Dhampur 2,840, Ramala 2,790, Bulandshar 2,835, Anupshar 2,750, Baghpat 2,800, Morna 2,790, Sakoti 2,840, Chandpur 2,815, Amroha N.T. And Nazibabad 2,770.
