Sugar millgate prices up on stockists buying

Sugar millgate prices improved marginally by Rs 10 per quintal in the wholesale sugar market today following brisk buying support.
Marketmen said increased buying support from stockists and bulk consumers due to commencement of a new month mainly pushed up millgate prices.
In the millgate section, Sugar Dorala, Modinagar, Dhampur and Anupshar were up by Rs 10 each to Rs 2,650, Rs 2,600, Rs 2,590 and Rs 2,580 per quintal.

Sugar retail markets - Rs 30.00-34.00 per kg.
Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 2,730-2,860 S-30 Rs 2,720-2,850.
Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 2,565-2,720 S-30 Rs 2,555-2,710.
