Sugar price dips on huge stocks

Sugar prices declined up to Rs 20 per quintal in the wholesale sugar market at national capital today following heavy stocks position.
Marketmen said mounting of ready stocks following regular supplies from mills , mainly attributed to fall in sweetner prices.
Suar ready M-30 and S-30 prices enquired lower from Rs 2,780-3,010 and Rs 2,770-2,990 to end at Rs 2,770-3,000 and Rs 2,760-2.980 per quintal.
Mill delivery M-30 and S-30 prices also quoted lower at Rs 2,700-2,860 and Rs 2,685-2,840 instead of Rs 2,720-2,870 and Rs 2,705-2,850 per quintal.
Among millgate section, Sugar Dorala, Budhana, Dhanora, Modinagar, Ramala and Chandpur lost Rs.20 each to settle at Rs 2,735, Rs 2,760, Rs 2,720, Rs.2,715, Rs.2,730 and Rs.2700 per quintal respectively.
Prices of Mawana, Kinnoni, Baghpat and Nazibabad also dropped Rs.10 each to Rs.2,760, Rs.2,860, Rs.2,740 and Rs.2,720 per quintal.
