Sugar prices decline on ample stocks

Sugar prices receded by Rs 60 per quintal at the wholesale market in the national capital today on mounting of stocks position following ample supplies from mills.
However, some demand following beginning of a new month restricted fall in sweetner prices.
Marketmen said the fall in sugar prices mostly due to ample stocks following increased supplies from mills.
Sugar ready M-30 and S-30 prices slipped by Rs 60 each to end at Rs 3,560-3,630 and Rs 3,550-3,620 per quintal.
Mill delivery M-30 and S-30 prices also eased by Rs 10 each to conclude at Rs 3,370-3,430 and Rs 3,360-3,420 per quintal.
In the millgate section, sugar Khatuli, Kinnoni, Simbholi and Malakpur declined by Rs 20 each to Rs 3,400, Rs 3,430, Rs 3,400 and Rs 3,380 per quintal.
