Sugar prices dip on lacklustre buying, good supply

Sugar prices continued to decline today due to lower offtake by stockists and bulk traders on the back of sufficient stocks in the market here.
Medium sugar (M-30) declined by Rs 14/8 to 2,422/2,652 per quintal from Thursday's closing level of Rs 2,436/2,660.
Small sugar (S-30) also slipped by Rs 16 to Rs 2,296/ 2,515 per quintal compared to Rs 2,312/2,515 yesterday.
Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 2,422/2,652 (Rs 2,436/2,660).
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 2,2296/2,515 (Rs 2,312/2,515).
