Sugar prices end quiet on small buying

The wholesale sugar prices remained steady in the national capital today as prices continued to be asked on previous closing levels in the absence of any worthwhile moving factors.
Marketmen said sporadic buying and sufficient stocks in the markets held prices at last levels.
The following were today's quotations per quintal:
Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 2,930-3,190, S-30 Rs 2,920-3,180.
Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 2,790-3,040; S-30 Rs 2,780-3,030.
Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 2890, Kinnoni 3,040, Asmoli 3,000, Dorala 2910, Budhana 2900, Thanabhavan 2895, Dhanora 2880, Simbholi 2,995, Modi Nagar Rs 2,890, Khatuli 2985, Dhampur 2,850, Ramala 2,850, Bulandshar 2,845, Anupshar 2,800, Baghpat 2,820, Morna 2,815, Sakoti 2,860, Chandpur 2,835, Amroha 2,825 and Nazibabad 2,800.
