Sugar prices marginally up on increased buying

Select sugar mill prices improved by Rs 5 per quintal in the wholesale sugar market today on increased buying support.
Marketmen said increased offtake by stockists and bulk consumers amid restricted supply from mills pushed some of mill prices higher.
In millgate including duty section, sugar Mawana, Asmoli and Dhanora moved up by Rs 5 each to Rs 2,910, Rs 3,030 and Rs 2,900 per quintal, respectively.
Prices of Dorala and Simbholi also improved by Rs 5 each to Rs 2,915 and Rs 3,050 per quintal.
The following are today's quotations per quintal:
Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 2,950-3,220, S-30 Rs 2,940-3,210.
Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 2,790-3,070; S-30 Rs 2,780-3,060.
Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 2910, Kinnoni 3,070, Asmoli 3,030, Dorala 2915, Budhana 2910, Thanabhavan 2900, Dhanora 2900, Simbholi 3,050, Modi Nagar Rs 2,880, Khatuli 3,025, Dhampur 2,860, Ramala 2,810, Bulandshar 2,860, Anupshar 2,790, Baghpat 2,820, Morna 2,815, Sakoti 2,860, Chandpur 2,845, Amroha N.T. And Nazibabad 2,790.
