Sugar prices remain steady on some support

Sugar prices ended at previous levels at the wholesale market in the national capital today on scattered buying support from bulk consumers and retailers.
Besides, increased supplies from mills also helped sugar prices to remain steady.
Marketmen said sufficient stocks position against scattered buying following beginning of new month, helped sugar prices to remain flat.
Following are today's quotations (in Rs per quintal)
Sugar retail markets - Rs 37.00-39.00 per kg.
Sugar ready: M-30 (Rs 3,320-3,470); S-30(Rs 3,300-3,450).
