Sugar prices up on selective buying

Select sugar millgate prices improved marginally up to Rs 10 per quintal in the national capital today following selective buying by stockist.
Marketmen said restricted supply and sporadic buying mainly attributed marginal rise in millgate sugar prices.
In millgate section, sugar Dorala and Dhanora improved by Rs 10 each to Rs 2,910 and Rs 2,880 per quintal.
Sugar Morana and Anupshar moved up by Rs 5 each at Rs 2,815 and Rs 2,800 per quintal.
The following were today's quotations per quintal:
Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 2,930-3,190, S-30 Rs 2,920-3,180.
Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 2,790-3,040; S-30 Rs 2,780-3,030.
Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 2890, Kinnoni 3,040, Asmoli 3,000, Dorala 2910, Budhana 2900, Thanabhavan 2895, Dhanora 2880, Simbholi 2,995, Modi Nagar Rs 2,890, Khatuli 2985, Dhampur 2,850, Ramala 2,850, Bulandshar 2,845, Anupshar 2,800, Baghpat 2,820, Morna 2,815, Sakoti 2,860, Chandpur 2,835, Amroha 2,825 and Nazibabad 2,800.
