Sugar shows mixed trend

Both varieties of sugar displayed a mixed pattern of trading at the Vashi wholesale market here today due to alternate bouts of buying and selling.
Small sugar (S-30) was quoted at Rs 3,200/3,320 per quintal as against Wednesday's level of Rs 3,192/3,330.
Medium sugar (M-30) was also traded at Rs 3,302/3,492 per quintal as against Rs 3,332/3,482 previously.
Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,200/3,320 (Rs 3,192/3,330).
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,302/3,492 (Rs 3,332/3,482).
