Suicide pact: 2 of family from AP dead; woman hospitalised

A 45-year old man and his teenaged son died while his wife was battling for life after an alleged suicide pact at a lodge in this temple town today, police said.
Mallikarjuna, who had given his home town as Nellore in Andhra Pradesh, and his 13-year old son were found dead.
His wife was found in an unconscious state and had been admitted to the district headquarters government hospital in Ramanathapuram, police said adding all the three had consumed some poison.
The three had checked into the lodge this morning and as they did not come out till the evening, the staff broke open the room door.

Police said further investigation was on.
