The character would be portrayed as "the psychiatrist at the prison where Joker is being held, and will have several scenes with both the Clown Prince of Crime and Harley Quinn" in the film, reported Aceshowbiz.
Casting on the character, however, has not yet been announced.
"Suicide Squad" stars Will Smith as Deadshot, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Jared Leto as Joker and Cara Delevingne as Enchantress.
The film is slated to hit US theatres on August 5, next year.
