The film, directed by David Ayer of "Fury" fame, stars an ensemble cast featuring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne and Viola Davis.
The action-packed trailer is filled with super-villain team-ups, a Batman cameo and an ominous threat from The Joker (Leto) who appears in the end, reported Digital Spy.
"I'm not going to kill you, I'm just going to hurt you, really, really bad," The Joker says.
The third film in the DC shared universe brings together super villains as part of a government-created task-force led by the ruthless Amanda Waller (Davis).
The film is scheduled to release on August 5, 2016.
