Rajasthan minister Hemaram Chaudhary, who had forwarded his resignation apparently in protest against shifting of an oil refinery site in Barmer, today met CM Ashok Gehlot here, and described it a "general" meet.
The leader, however, refused to comment on the status of his resignation, that has not been accepted by the Chief Minister.
He said he will meet Gurudas Kamat, in-charge of the party for political affairs in Rajasthan, and PCC Chief Chandrabhan in the party's manifesto committee tomorrow.
Choudhary and Congress MLA Sonaram, during a meeting in Barmer on July 24, had sparred over the issue of shifting a oil refinery site from Leelala to Pachpadra in Barmer, following which the minister had forwarded his resignation to Gehlot without mentioning a reason.
Gehlot, however, has repeatedly said that Chaudhary would be convinced for withdrawing his resignation.
A state government committee in June had approved Pachpadra as the new location for setting up of the refinery.
Earlier, Lilala village in the same district was the proposed site for the refinery.
Congress MLA from Baitu Sona Ram that time had alleged that it was done on 'political motives', without consulting villagers of Leelala.
