The minimum was recorded at 28.3 degrees, three notches above the season's average, a MeT department official said, adding that humidity in air oscillated between 48 and 78 per cent.
The weatherman predicted partly cloudy skies tomorrow, but ruled out any possibility of rainfall.
"The skies will be partly cloudy. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 37 and 28 degrees, respectively," the official said.
The maximum yesterday was at 38 degrees, four notches above the season's average, while the minimum was recorded at 27.5 degrees, two notches above normal.
