Sultry morning, light rains likely

Delhiites today woke up to a sultry morning with the minimum temperature being recorded at 27.9 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year.
The humidity was recorded as 80 per cent at 8.30 AM, said a Met department official.
The weather office has predicted overcast conditions along with the possibility of light rain and thundershowers for the day.
"The sky will be generally cloudy. There is likelihood of light rain and thunderstorm during the day. The maximum temperature is likely to hover at 34 degrees," the weatherman said.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 32.4 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was 24.8 degrees.
