In a two-day district CPI-M conference, fifteen members were elected including Sumita Chopra as the first woman secretary, Ravindra Shukla, the state CPI-M committee member said.
Among others who were elected as members included Suresh Vyas, R C Sharma, Sunita Choudhary, Mohammed Mustafa, Laxman Sen, Kishan Singh Rathore, Kishore Singh and Mahesh Jakhar.
Speaking on the occasion, Shukla alleged that BJP's Hindutva agenda was openly exposed in the society.
Neither inflation was curbed nor jobs were created for youth in the state by the BJP government, she said.
