Yesterday's trough of low pressure over Southwest Bay and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has become Unimportant.
Rainfall occurred at most places over Lakshadweep and at a few places over Kerala and Coastal Karnataka. Isolated rainfall occurred over Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and South interior Karnataka. Dry weather prevailed over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and North interior Karnataka.

TELANGANA: Nil.
The minimum temperature appreciably fell at a few places over Telangana, Coastal Karnataka, at one or two places over Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, fell at a few places over rest Telangana, North interior Karnataka, rest Rayalaseema, fell at one or two places over rest Coastal Karnataka, appreciably rose at one or two places over rest Tamil Nadu and changed little elsewhere over the region.
The minimum temperature appreciably above normal at many places over Telangana, North interior Karnataka, at one or two places over Tamil Nadu, above normal at one or two places over rest Telangana, Kerala, rest Tamil Nadu, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and were remained normal over the rest of the region.
Summary of observations recorded at 0830 hrs:
A feeble western disturbance as an upper air cyclonic circulation extending upto 3.1 kms a.S.L. Lies over Afghanistan & neighbourhood. System would move east-northeastwards.
The cyclonic circulation extending upto 1.5 kms a.S.L. over Meghalaya and neighbourhood persists. The cyclonic circulation over south Chhattisgarh and neighbourhood has become less marked.
However, a trough extends from east Bihar to south Odisha at 3.1 kms a. S. L. The trough of low at mean sea level over south Andaman Sea and adjoining Tenasserim coast now lies over south Andaman Sea and neighbourhood. The cyclonic circulation aloft has become less marked.
Cold wave conditions prevailed at isolated places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha.
HEAVY RAINFALL WARNING: DAY 1(25th SEPTEMBER): Heavy
to very heavy rain is likely to occur at one or two places over Telangana. Heavy rain is also likely to occur at one or two places over North interior Karnataka.
DAY 2(26th SEPTEMBER): Heavy rain is likely to occur at one or two places over Telangana.
DAY 3(27th SEPTEMBER): Nil.
DAY 4(28th SEPTEMBER): Heavy rain is likely to occur at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
