Usha International Limited, a household consumer durable brand, is offering golf courses to children aged between 8-15 years in the national capital.
The company has been associated with Junior Training Programme (JTP) of the Delhi Golf Club since 2006 with the aim of introducing golf to youngsters between the age groups of 8 and 15 years besides discovering and nurturing talented juniors.
This year's junior golf training is slated between May 16th and June 24 at the Delhi Golf Club. The 30th edition of JTP started registrations on May 14 and is divided into four camps (each of 10 day duration) slated for 16th May, 26th May, 5th June and 15th June respectively.
"This is the time of the year when kids get to come out of their daily routine and get involved in their hobbies, one of which is sports. As we continue to partner with junior training programme for golf with Delhi Golf Club for a decade now, we want more and more juniors to take up this training at the learning stages of their life," says Komal Mehra, Events Head, Usha International Limited.

During the carnival, students will be coached by internationally and domestically acclaimed trainers like NBA (National Basketball Association) Jr. Coach Karan Baweja, Aman Bathla (World's fastest pianist) and Dance guru & Bollywood choreographer Shiamak Davar, who will share their expertise and experiences during the workshops and training sessions.
Famous ice-cream brand 'London Dairy' is organising an
'Ice Cream Sundae Challenge' for children in Godrej Nature's Basket's flagship stores in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.
Popular chefs like Chef Rushina Munshaw Ghildiyal and Chef Monica Manchanda in Mumbai and Bangalore respectively showed kids techniques of creating Sundaes using ice cream with a variety of toppings.

Child Rights and You (CRY) is set to host summer camps for children in urban slums and communities across 6 locations in India- Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai and Delhi.
In Mumbai and Pune, the camp is being conducted for the third consecutive year and the response has been overwhelming leading to a considerable reduction in number of dropouts.
This year the NGO is reaching out to around 200 children in 3 locations i.E. Kalyan, Thane and Pune in May and June.
In Chennai, CRY is conducting a Summer Camp at Notchikuppam called 'Chutti Kodai Kalakalapu'. In Delhi, summer camp from May to June is being held at Tigri, south Delhi, Shahbad Dairy, North Delhi, Dwarka, South West Delhi, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad UP, NCR and in Gurgaon, Haryana, NCR.
CRY is collaborating with Indian Museum in the 'City of Joy', Kolkata to organize a summer camp named 'Aashayein' on June 5, on the occasion of International Environment Day.
The camp will be rounded up with a direct interaction between the children and celebrity guests which also include eminent successful professionals. This section of the event aims to bring the concept of role models in the lives of these children so that they start believing in themselves and aspiring for such success in their lives," says Soha Moitra, Director (North) and Volunteer Action.
