Sunburn is set to be held on the Candolim beach in Goa this year on December 27, 28 and 29. The festival organisers are taking help of Woodland's 'Leave No Trace' campaign to ensure there is no post event clean up needed.
Goa will witness a massive structure, 25 ft wide and 25 ft high, that will be showcase various aspects of Woodland's ProPlanet initiative as well as displayed props.
A uniquely created tree structure at the venue will enable interactive participation in the cleanliness drive and engage and educate party-goers to see that the conclusion of the event witnesses a clean beach with only memories and no remains of the great show.
"Woodland is furthering its goal of spreading awareness on an eco-friendly lifestyle with an entire Sunburn community at the sixth edition of Sunburn in Goa this year.
"To inspire the next generation of enthusiasts and increase their participation in conservation of nature, Leave no Trace reaches out to free-spirited youth to make Sunburn one of the most eco-friendly festivals in Asia," said Harkirat Singh, Managing Director, Woodland.
As a part of its on ground activities the campaign will include art installations made out of waste materials, display of wacky eco-friendly signage and volunteers at the venue spreading 'Leave No Trace' message.
