Light to moderate rainfall occurred at a few places over the Northeast and Southeast parts of Bihar, while light rainfall was seen at one or two places over the rest of state, it said.
A sunny day prevailed throughout the day with Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea recording maximum temperature at around 34-35 degree celsius, while the minimum temperature stood between 25 to 27 degrees Celsius.
Purnea recorded maximum humidity at 89 per cent followed by Bhagalpur at 84 per cent and Patna at 83 per cent respectively.
