According to a MeT department official, the Safdarjung observatory recorded visibility at 300 metres at 5:30 AM which improved to 400 metres at 8.30 AM.
It significantly improved to 1,500 metres at 11.30 AM.
The Palam observatory recorded visibility at 350 metres at 5:30 AM. At 8:30 AM, the visibility improved to 500 metres and further to 1,000 metres at 11.30 AM.

The humidity level oscillated between 100 and 51 per cent.
The MeT office has predicted mainly clear skies for tomorrow with the likelihood of moderate to dense fog in the morning.
"The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover at 25 and 9 degrees Celsius, respectively," the weatherman said.
Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures hovered around 24 degrees Celsius and 9.5 degrees Celsius, respectively.
