Contrary to the current Bollywood trend of boisterous marketing, actor Sunny Deol says though he does not like over-the-top promotions to sell his films he won't mind doing it if necessary.
Sunny will be back on screen in an action avatar with 'Singh Saheb The Great' with power-packed dialogues.
"Today, everything is about promotions and it has become necessary. Today, people shout from rooftops to come and watch their films. I did that kind of promotions earlier but I got tired. I don't like to do it but it seems we have to do it as it is necessary," Sunny told reporters here at the music launch of 'Singh Saheb The Great'.
"I feel the best way to promote a film is through its trailer because through that good people will come and watch the film," he said.
The tag line of the film reads 'badla nahi badlav'.
"It's time for change in society, people are fed up with corruption and various scams. We are responsible for it as we common man must stand up and speak," Sunny said.
The film also stars Amrita Rao as a journalist and came to the event in the ensemble of her character.
She even posed questions to Sunny on his choice of films, typical in style of a scribe.
