The Haryana government on Thursday exempted the Hrithik Roshan-starrer "Super 30" from the state goods and services tax (GST) with immediate effect.
The registered taxpayer (multiplex/cinema theatres) will not charge state GST from the customers and the tickets will be sold at a price reducing the amount of state GST, an official statement said here.
"Super 30" is based on the life of Patna-based scholar Anand Kumar, who trains 30 deserving, economically-backward students for IIT-JEE entrance exams every year with commendable success rate. The film released in cinemas on July 12.
