This was announced by Minister of Medical Education R S Chib during a high-level meeting here to review the ongoing work of the proposed hospital.
During the meeting, the minister also discussed about required infrastructure for the hospital including manpower, service support, civil work and medical equipments.
He also directed were to ensure services like security, sanitation and pharmacy in two weeks time to enable full-fledged functioning of the hospital.
It was informed that the project was taken up under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) and of the approved fund, Rs 102.75 crore have been incurred by the Central Public Works Department.
Till March 2012, Rs 27.88 crore has been utilised for purchase of medical equipments.
