Superintendent ITI, R S Pura, Ruchika was placed under suspension for apparently not unlocking the college complex for providing shelter to residents of adjoining border areas in view of firing from across the border, an official spokesman said.
The Superitendent was suspended peding an enquiry, he said.
SDM, R S Pura, had telephonically informed the Superintendent, to immediately unlock the building and provide shelter to the people, the spokesman said.
Assistant Commissioner, Jammu, Shehnaz Choudhary, has been appointed Inquiry Officer for conducting an in-depth probe into the matter, the spokesman said.
