The first supplementary demand proposes an expenditure of Rs 8139.93 crore under plan head, Rs 8686.60 crore under non-plan head and Rs 33.43 crore for centrally-sponsored schemes (CSS) in Bihar, he said while tabling the proposal.
The demand for Rs 3156.76 crore to meet the central share under the Indira Awas Yojana (IAY) tops the expected expenditure under plan head, while Rs 500.76 crore have been earmarked for Swach Bharat Mission and Lohia Swachhta Mission to be done by the rural development department.
Under non-plan outlays, the first supplementary demand has highest outlay for Rs 5437.85 crore for state contingency fund, while Rs 2331.78 crore will go towards loan to the Bihar State Power Holding Company as loan under the Uday Scheme.
The first supplementary demand will be debated and ratified by the members of the two houses of state legislature next week.
