Referring to documents received under RTI, Tanwar, former legislator from the constituency, had reportedly alleged that Singh had, on his retirement from army, tried to bag job of a teacher in a state-run school in Jhajjar and had furnished a fake graduation degree obtained from Sikkim University.
"I have already cleared that I completed B.A. Through distance education between 2009 and 2011 from EIILM which comes under Sikkim University. It is not a regular programme. I have not completed degree from Sikkim University.
Singh, who is called as Commando by his partymen, had defeated Tanwar in the assembly election held last year.
