The Railway minister who attended the government's 'Sankalp se Siddhi' event in Sindhudurg in the Konkan region today also wished Mittal all the best for the future.
Prabhu had yesterday posted a series of emotional tweets after his meeting with the prime minister.
"In less than three years as Minister, I have devoted my blood and sweat for the betterment of the Railways," he said.
"I am extremely pained by the unfortunate accidents, injuries to passengers and loss of precious lives. It has caused me deep anguish," he said.
