Sonipat-based Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) has been ranked second by a survey for top emerging law colleges in the country this year.
The survey was conducted by India Today-Nielsen.
JGLS, a part of O P Jindal Global University (JGU), was started in 2009.
Reacting to the achievement, C Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor of JGU, said it was testament to outstanding contribution of the faculty members, students and staff of the university and JGLS.
"This recognition will enable the university and the law school to aspire for greater heights and fulfil the goals of promoting global excellence in higher education and legal education," he said.
A statement issued by the university said that in past four-and-a-half years, JGLS has graduated two batches of students from LLB and LLM programmes.
