The company, which has recently forayed into the light emitting diode (LED) segment, is expecting a good traction from the new business.
"We are eyeing a turnover of Rs 1,800 crore from the lighting division in coming 3-4 years," Surya Roshni Managing Director B Raju told PTI.

Surya Roshni had a revenue of Rs 1,125.77 crore from the lighting segment as on the financial year ended March 31, 2014.
The company has already invested Rs 20 crore in R&D for LED and plans to put Rs 25 crore more within a year.
On sales expectation from LED, Raju said:" We are expecting sales of approximately Rs 150 crore ending the current FY from our LED segment."
Surya Roshni, which has also announced foray in the home appliance sector, is working on product development and would launch it by September 2014, he added.
"We have appointed a well qualified & technical team for our home appliances segment. The team is working on the development of the products and we are hoping it to be launched in mid-September this year," Raju said.
The company, which exports its lighting range as tube-lights and CFLs (compact fluorescent lamp) to over 44 countries of Europe, America, South East Asia, has gradually started exporting LEDs also.
"Gradually, we are adding our LED product range too into our basket. We are getting very good response from international markets as well," he said.
The company has created facilities at its Kashipur and Gwalior plants for manufacturing LED products.
At present, all major products such as LED bulbs, down lights, street lights are manufactured domestically and rest are imported.
"We are manufacturing about 80% of total product range in-house and rest 20%, we are sourcing from outside. We have set a target of 100% in-house production in future very soon," Raju said.
Surya LED luminaires range consists tubes, bulbs and commercial luminaires, streetlights/floodlights & solar-based energy luminaires.
