Senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi today demanded strict action against scores of the ruling grand alliance leaders for allegedly breaching liquor law in Bihar.
A number of ruling grand alliance leaders have been caught in a sting operation breaching stringent liquor law in Bihar, but the state government is yet to crack whips on them, he claimed in a statement.
Slamming Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for not acting against the high-profile violators belonging to JD-U, RJD and Congress, Modi said as he frowned upon Nitish Kumar's going to town tom-tomming about his liqour law.
A former deputy chief minister of Bihar, Modi also asked Kumar, also the JD(U) chief, to take action against his party leader in Delhi for his alleged involvement in exchange of old currency notes into new ones after taking a hefty commission which was caught on camera in a sting operation recently.
