His 296-page book written in Hindi and published by - Prabhat Prakhashan - would be released by the Union Chemicals and Fertilisers Minister Ananth Kumar and Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh among others.
Giving an account of his book, Sushil said it mainly consists of his first-hand experience of Emergency imposed in the country by then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in 1975 during which he served a 19-month imprisonment.
"I have given an in-depth account of Emergency by encapsulating details and related socio-political developments arising of the draconian measures imposed by then Congress government," Sushil said.
The senior BJP leader said he has also thrown light on the reservation politics, implementation of Mandal Commission providing for 27 per cent reservation in government jobs and education for the OBCs, besides decline of socialist politics and conversion of these parties into a fiefdom of individuals and families and criminalisation of politics among others.

The former deputy chief minister his book also contains his speeches in the state legislative Assembly of which he was a member from Patna central constituency for three terms when RJD supremo Lalu Prasad's wife Rabri Devi was the Chief Minister of Bihar.
Sushil said his articles written on militancy in Jammu and Kashmir have also found mention in the book.
