A man accused of killing an Ohio college student who disappeared while riding her bicycle has been ordered to remain jailed.
The attorney representing 57-year-old James Worley waived a preliminary hearing today on charges of aggravated murder and abduction.
A sheriff confirmed yesterday that remains found July 22 in a cornfield are those of 20-year-old University of Toledo student Sierah Joughin.
She was last seen riding her bike a week ago along a country road near her home about 20 miles outside Toledo.
Worley has rejected interview requests since his arrest.
His attorney declined to comment.
Worley has been charged with abduction before, and investigators are looking into the possibility of additional victims.
Worley was convicted of abducting a woman in 1990 near Toledo and spent three years in prison.
