Rajesh Saxena, resident of Dadabari area, was admitted at a private hospital here and is suspected to be infected with H1N1 virus, Chief Medical & Health Officer R N Yadav said.
The samples of the patient have been sent to Maharao Bheem Singh (MBS) hospital here to ascertain if it was a case of swine flu, he added.
For precautionary measures, medical teams were sent to the residential area of the patient and a drive was carried out to check if the disease had got spread.
Block medical officers have also been asked to carry out door-to-door survey in their respective areas to check if anyone has the symptoms of the disease, the CMHO added.
14 persons have succumbed to swine flu in Rajasthan since April 1 this year.
