The man, identified as Anis, was arrested yesterday from Banguspura locality by a joint team of NIA from Hyderabad and Uttar Pradesh Police, they said.
Anis was working for terror outfits and was involved in a fake currency racket, police said.
The NIA team, which took Anis to Hyderabad on transit remand, made the arrest following his mobile surveillance.
Anis was in Ahmedabad for about five years and had returned here about two months ago, police said, adding that he was arrested from a house having nameplate of one Q Khan of Delhi Police.
