Suspected terrorist had been residing in Jalandhar for over 2

Suspected ISIS terrorist, Muzammil, who was nabbed from Jalandhar in Punjab today, had been living there for more than two-and-a-half years and working as a tailor in a boutique, a senior police official said.
Muzammil was among the suspected ISIS terrorists who were arrested from various places today for in a major multi-state operation.
Muzammil was arrested from Sant Nagar locality in Jalandhar, Police Commissioner P K Sinha said over the phone.
The suspect, said to be in his 20s had been staying in Jalandhar for the past two-and-a-half years to three years, Sinha said.
He said that the suspect was a tailor working in a boutique in Jalandhar.
"His father lives in Bholath area near Kapurthala and makes flower pots. Muzammil was active over internet, mainly Facebook. He came in contact with other radicalised people. He is a radicalised youth," ," Sinha told PTI.

Security agencies today claimed to have averted a major terror attack as 10 suspected ISIS activists were held today in a major multi-state operation.
The joint operation was carried out by the police teams of Delhi, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Bihar and Andhra Pradesh, in which four suspected terrorists belonging to the ISIS Khorasan module were arrested and six others were detained, officials said.
Apart from Jalandhar, the arrests were made during raids this morning in Mumbra (Maharashtra), Narkatiaganj (Bihar), and Bijnor and Muzaffarnagar (both in Uttar Pradesh), the officials added.
Inspector General of the UP Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) Aseem Arun, in a statement in Noida, said the accused were planning a major terror attack in the country.
Important documents relating to the ISIS were seized from them, Arun claimed.
