Ghosh, emerging from his 30-minute meeting with Chidambaram, said he has not sought any bailout from the government and will cooperate with the investigations into the scam.
"I have not sought any immunity... I will extend full support to the ongoing investigation (into the scam)," he said.
Sources said he has submitted some documents related the Saradha chit fund scam to the Finance Minister.
However, the nature of documents submitted by Ghosh could not be independently ascertained.

Ghosh, who was the CEO of the Saradha media group, had earlier threatened to disclose names if he was arrested in the scam and sought an inquiry by his party into the enitre episode.
Sources close to the MP said he sought financial assistance for the revival of historic Rammohan library in North Kolkata.
The Saradha scam, in which lakhs of investors were duped, came to light in April after which Saradha group chairman Sudipta Sen was arrested along with two others.
