"The project consists of 11 units of S97 120m all-steel hybrid tower and 12 units of S97 90m tubular tower with rated capacity of 2.1Mw each.

"The project has the potential to provide power to 26,000 households and reduce 0.10 million tonnes of CO2 emissions per annum," Suzlon said in a BSE filing.
Located in the districts of Jaisalmer and Jodhpur, Rajasthan, the project is scheduled for completion by March, 2017.

Suzlon shares were trading 7.61 per cent up at Rs 13.85 apiece during morning session on the BSE.
