External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj today called on South Korean President Moon Jae-in here and discussed ways to elevate the Special Strategic Partnership between the two countries.
Swaraj called on Moon, who arrived here yesterday on his first state visit to India, in the morning.
"Shared commitment to values of democracy, open society & liberal international order! EAM @SushmaSwaraj called on President of Republic of Korea, Moon Jae-in. Positive discussion on further elevating the Special Strategic Partnership by expanding ties across several sectors," Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted along with a picture of the two leaders.
Moon also addressed the India-Korea Business Forum here and jointly inaugurated the world's largest mobile phone factory with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The two leaders took a ride in the Metro to Noida while heading for the inauguration of the Samsung facility.
Modi and Moon will hold talks tomorrow.
