Swaraj India today launched a campaign seeking accountability and answers from governments at Centre, state and municipal level.
While launching the month-long campaign 'Jawab Do Hisab Do' (give answers, give accountability), which will culminate on February 12, the party said that all three governments have abdicated their responsibilities for the national capital.
"The team of party volunteers will establish dialogue and connect with the common people in Delhi. The campaign aims to understand their core issues and work towards addressing them in a positive and meaningful way," the party said.
The party added that it will announce its MCD election campaign on the culmination of the campaign.
"Delhi has three levels of government - the Centre, the State and the Municipal Corporations but it's a pity that all three have abandoned the national capital and abdicated their responsibility.
"None of these governments is genuinely interested in working on real issues that concern the public," it said, adding that the campaign is likely to cover 10 lakh household of the national capital.
In a press note, the party said that the campaign will bring forth the real issues concerning the citizens of Delhi in a factual and data-based manner and bring a true reflection of the state of affairs of Delhi.
