Swedish Ambassador calls on Gujarat Chief Minister
Press Trust of India Ahmedabad Swedish Ambassador Jonas Hafstrom called on Gujarat Chief Minister Anandi Patel in Gandhinagar today and discussed the possibility of increasing cooperation in various sectors.
"During the meeting, Patel stressed that Sweden could share it's expertise with Gujarat in skill development, for the manpower involved in various sectors here, such as machinery production, automotive, aeronautical engineering and renewable energy," said an official press release.
Patel told the Swedish delegation that a high-level team of her government is already in Sweden to promote the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Summit-2015.
"She also extended an invitation to the visitors to participate in the summit which is accepted by them," the release said.
"Hafstrom, senior advisor to the Minister of Trade, Sweden, and other members of the delegation shared some details about their efforts in the field of energy from waste, while Patel gave them details about achievements of Gujarat in solar energy, development of non-conventional energy sources and waste management technology," the release added.
