Speaking at a panel discussion on 'The Drivers of Growth: Infrastructure' here, Ajay Mishra, Principal Secretary of the General Administration Department, said Telangana state government has prepared a plan under which about Rs 10,000 crore will be spent on roads' renovation in all the 10 districts over the next few years.
Mishra, who holds the additional charge of Transport, Roads and Buildings Department, said, "Rs 10,000 crore in the next two-three years is not going to come up from 100 per cent budgeted provision."
The official also said there will be private sector participation for some roads, whereas for some other roads, the government will take up the responsibility of full funding.

According to Mishra, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, during a recent meeting, had asked the officials to build express highways (elevated corridors) in Hyderabad, on the lines of the PVNR Express Highway in the city, Mishra said.
