The 'India Conference' at Harvard is one of the largest India conferences in the US with close to 1,000 attendees. It is hosted at the Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School in Boston by the graduate students of Harvard University.
"The team of Harvard India Conference has invited Minister for IT and Panchayat Raj K T Rama Rao for being a part of the panels hosted by both Harvard Kennedy School and Harvard Business School, for which the minister has agreed," a release from the Minister's office said.
"The conference will bring together business leaders, government officials, philanthropists, and many other industry leaders to engage in a conversation about India's path to global leadership," it said.
One of the key areas for focus this year's edition of the Conference is on the role of technology in evolution of India and how India can leverage technology in the years ahead, the release added.
While the Harvard Kennedy School panel will focus on the Digital India Campaign launched in 2015, the Harvard Business School panel will focus on opportunities for incumbent businesses and early stage start-ups in this age of digital innovation and transformation.
